Due to unforeseen medical circumstances, Hazzerd will not be able to play their set on Friday, June 8th.
Safety always comes first for us, and in this case, it's best for Brendan to take it easy and look after himself. Please send warm thoughts his and Hazzerd's way and join us in wishing him well through this. They had this to say:
With that said, we opened up their slot to a poll and a people's choice vote. We wanted you to tell us who who you wanted to see added to the bill and we got an incredible response in just a short amount of time!
Thank you for all who took the time to vote and let us know who you wanted to see hit the stage at Decimate! With that said, we're happy to announce that Pecado will be playing in Hazzerd's slot on Friday, June 8th! It was definitely a close one! Thank you to all who gave us your input, and to all who shared
The poll. To the bands we weren't able to play, we hope we have the chance to work with you in the future!
Sidenote: This will be one of Pecado's last local shows before they head to California, so be sure to come and check them out!
Established in 2010, Pecado originated as a three piece melodic death metal band in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
James "Astaroth" (former member of Armaggedon (Colombia)), the lead guitarist, vocalist, and founding member of Pecado, originates from the Antioquia region of Colombia. In July of 2017 drummer and Calgary, Albertan Ian "Obsidian" (former member of Occulus (Canada)) joined the band. As of November 2017, Calgarian Don Stenhouse (Reverend Kill) began as the bass guitarist, resulting in the dynamic black/death metal three piece that is now Pecado. Lyrically, Pecado's music has a blasphemous and critical theme in regard to religion - specifically, Christianity.
In November of 2017, Pecado released their first release; a hand numbered, limited edition 4-song digipak titled Christ Invasion (available on Bandcamp). They will soon be recording a full album that is forecasted to be released in early 2018.
